The course is designed for people who want to learn some basics about directing an ensemble which may be vocal, instrumental or a misture of both. Through practiclal sessions, discussions and teamwork assignments you will develop your practical techniques. It will also touch on a variety of skills that are vital to running a music group such as planning, management, development of musicianship, self evaluation, effective communication and presentation.
